Join us for our first ever Out at the Fair on Sunday, August 11. We will be celebrating our diverse LGBTQ community at the Fair with some fantastic events and opportunities! ALL ARE WELCOME AT THE FAIR!!

Out at the Fair Activities

  • Meet at 11:15 am at Shade Park Stage
  • Welcome from Fair CEO Becky Bartling and Miss Sonoma County Rhiannon Jones
  • Any one wearing anything Rainbow or identifying themselves as a LGBTQIA or attending family members will receive a free racing grandstand seat, a free racing program and a $2 betting voucher. ( Must be 18 or older to receive the betting voucher.) A program of all the fun Fair activities will also be handed out at this time. Additionally each person will receive a coupon from Butler Amusements for one free carnival ride. Anyone wearing rainbow colors can receive a $1 off any food item at the Kandytown or Rainbow Wagon food concession stands found either in the midway or kidland midway.
  • Following the intro and pass out there will be a Racing Seminar in Shade Park for anyone who would like to learn more about betting on horses.
  • At 4pm join the Special Events team at the Barnyard Stage for the Family Look a-like contest. Everyone who enters gets a ribbon!
  • At 4:30 everyone meets at the big wheel (Ferris Wheel) for a photo op. (The Ferris wheel will have Rainbow bunting and a rainbow on its digital big screen on this day) (Miss Sonoma County to meet us for Photo)
  • After the photo everyone is invited to join in the daily parade which starts at 5pm. Meet at the Redwood Credit Union Plaza behind Findley Hall.
  • At 6:30pm return to Shade Park for a very fun concert by the Shake it Booty Band.
