DINOSAURS AT THE FAIR

Dinosaurs at the Sonoma County Fair

The Dinosaurs Are Coming

It’s a dinosaur-themed Jurassic Jubilee at this summer’s Sonoma County Fair! The party will start in the Flower Show, with ten life-size animatronic dinosaurs, and move on to the Jurassic Adventure Zone, home to lots of dinosaur-themed fun for all ages. Keep your eyes peeled for dinosaurs all over the fairgrounds. From exhibits to parade floats to photo ops, the dinosaurs are waiting for you!

Dinosaurs In the Flower Show

This year the Flower Show goes back in time to the Cretaceous period with ‘Dinosaurs Around the World.’  Each professional landscape garden will feature an animatronic dinosaur up to 45’ long! There will be waterfalls, volcanoes, and a bar where you can stock up on fossil fuel! The flower show is free with Fair admission and opens at noon each day of the fair.

Jurassic Adventure Zone!

Jurassic Adventure Zone Sonoma County FAir
Dinosaur lovers of all ages are invited to the Jurassic Adventure Zone, where there are opportunities for fun, learning, and action!  Our youngest fairgoers can enter the Jurassic racetrack and try out some toy dinosaur vehicles. Both battery and foot-powered options are available. Adults and kids will enjoy playing paleontologist to help uncover a 20-dinosaur fossil. And you can grab a brush and help paint a dinosaur-themed mural!  Check out the dinosaur displays and learn about the history of dinosaur discovery and a few dinosaur jokes (in the dad-joke category!).  When you’re ready to sit, stop by the Jurassic Stage and watch a Funny Guy Henrick Bothe perform three shows daily.  And at the Jurassic Racetrack, and watch the animals compete for a prize of treats! Pigs, lambs, and goats (or was that a dinosaur?) hit the track four times a day.
