Hey there, Fairgoers! To make sure everyone has a blast while keeping things safe and smooth at the entrance, we're introducing a Clear Bag Policy. This move will speed up bag checks and enhance security, so you can get to the fun faster!
What's allowed:
Clear Plastic, Vinyl, or PVC Bags - Max size: 12" x 6" x 12"
Small Clutch Purses - About the size of a hand, max 4.5" x 6.5"
Exceptions for Medical & Baby Care. We understand the need for medical equipment and baby essentials. These items will be allowed after a proper inspection.
FAQs
What bags can I bring?
You can bring clear bags that are not larger than 12" x 6" x 12", small purse-like bags that fit in your hand not larger than 4.5" x 6.5", and bags for baby or medical needs if we can check them first.
Can I bring my diaper bag?
Yes, diaper bags are allowed for guests with infants and toddlers. Please have them ready for security screening upon entry.
Can I bring a blanket or a jacket?
Absolutely, you can bring blankets and jackets. Just have them out for quick screening at the entrance.
What about privacy for personal items, like medication?
We recommend packing such items in a small clutch that meets our size requirements (4.5" x 6.5"). These will be subject to a security check, ensuring your privacy is respected.
Can I bring a bigger bag for shopping inside the Fairgrounds?
Yes! The clear bag is just for getting through security at the gate. Once you're inside, feel free to shop and use a bigger bag for all your finds. You can even bring an empty, foldable non-clear bag in your clear bag and use it inside the Fairgrounds for all your shopping items.
What if I buy too much and can’t carry it all?
No worries! Did you know you can leave and come back in? Just get your hand stamped for in & out privileges. That way, you can take stuff to your car and come back to enjoy more of the Fair. Just remember, while we hope everything stays safe, the Fairgrounds can’t be responsible for theft or damage to cars.
Are all bags subject to search?
Yes, for the safety of everyone at the fairgrounds, all bags are subject to search upon entry.
