RV Park At the Fairgrounds

RV PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS 

Pursuant to the California Recreational Vehicle Occupancy Law, the recreational vehicle of any RV occupant may be removed from the premises without a judicial hearing upon 72 hour written notice to occupant for: 1) failure to pay for such occupancy, or 2) failure to comply with the rules and regulations of the park. Civil code sections 799.22, 799.43 and 799.58

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation must be made by 6pm the day prior to your arrival. Should you need to cancel your reservation within this timeframe, a non-negotiable cancellation fee of $20.00 will apply. Please note that the $5 reservation fee is non-refundable.

 

In the event that you do not contact us or fail to show up for your reservation, the full reservation payment will be forfeited.

 

Alternatively, if you need to adjust your stay dates, we offer the flexibility to change your reservation without any additional charges. You can easily do this by contacting us via email at rvpark@sonomacountyfair.com or by phone at (707)-293-8410. Please make any changes at least 24 hours before your scheduled check-in.

 

Refund Policy

 

We do not offer any kind of refunds outside our cancellation policy. If you leave before your check out date, you will forfeit any payments collected.

Storage Reservation

Any person renting a storage space are subject to the following terms in addition to the rules and regulations listed below:

o   You must pay space rent on or before the due date by credit card

o   No one may live and/or occupy the RV while it is being stored in one of our storage spaces

o   RV must meet all vehicle requirements stated in the agreement below. All RV’s must have current registration and valid insurance. RV’s older than 15 years are subject to approval from camp hosts.

Registration

·     Check In: 1:00 PM

·       Check Out: 12:00 PM (Late checkout available for an additional fee based on reservation availability)

·     All campers must register and pay in full prior to occupying a site (no cash or checks accepted). We welcome Good Sam, Passport America, Happy Camper and Escapees members. 


*Discounts cannot be combined.  All discounts, except Good Sam, can only be used once in a thirty (30) day period.  Discounts will only be given upon verification of current discount club membership. Customers must present a current membership card with an expiration date to obtain the discounted rate. If you are unable to provide proof of current membership, you will be charged the full Regular Rate for the duration of your stay. 
All vehicles must be registered, insured (all motor vehicles) and display the appropriate tags. This includes campers as well as visitors.

 

·         The nightly rate includes (2) Adults (2) Children and (2) pets. There will be an additional charge for extra guests, pets or vehicles. Each site is allowed to have a maximum of 6 people and 4 pets.

·         Vehicles must always display proper permits. Permits will be given at Check-In. The nightly rate includes (1)RV and (1)Vehicle. There will be an additional charge as per the price list for each additional vehicle per night. Large vehicles will be assessed additional fees.

·     Guests must pay for all extended stays immediately upon approved extension or be checked out.

·     Only paid guests may stay overnight.  Visitors must park in designated parking spaces only and must vacate the RV Park by 10:00 pm.  Violation of park rules and regulations will be considered grounds for immediate eviction. All vehicles not displaying a parking pass after 10PM will be towed at the owner’s sole expense.

·     Speed limit is 5 miles per hour and is STRICTLY ENFORCED. Failure to abide by the speed limit will be considered grounds for immediate eviction. All vehicles that are not operational will be considered abandoned and will be removed and impounded at the owner’s sole expense (CA Vehicle Code: 22523).  Vehicles of any type are for access to and from RV sites only. Racing and exhibition of speed are strictly forbidden.

·     Maximum stay is 28 consecutive days per visit and guests must vacate the grounds for 72 hours between visits of 28 days.  Spaces are available on a first come first served basis. Fairgrounds management reserves the right to modify the maximum stay to less than the 28-day limit. The Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park is NOT a residential park. The RV Park address, and your site number may not be used or represented as a place of residence.

·     All rigs entering the RV Park are subject to inspection and must pass inspection by the RV Host to be allowed to stay within the RV Park. Your unit must be self-contained; car or tent camping is not permitted. Generally, rigs older than 15 years are not allowed; some exceptions may apply. Rigs with obvious despair will not be allowed to stay. All vehicles must be in compliance with the California Department of Motor Vehicle code. A tow vehicle is required to be on site if your RV requires one to move. We do not allow 3rd party drop offs.

·     A maximum of 2 vehicles including RV/trailer will be allowed in your assigned site for overnight stays.  All vehicles must be parked within your site or in a designated parking area. Your vehicles may not go into another site or block the fire lanes. All vehicles must display the proper permit to stay and to re-enter the RV Park. Limited visitor parking is available and may only be utilized from 8am to 10pm.  Any cars remaining after 10pm without a parking pass will be towed.  Charges for visitor parking will be implemented during Fairground events.

·     Pet Policy: Failure to clean up after your pet will result in immediate eviction from the RV ParkDogs must be licensed in compliance with all rules of the Sonoma County Department of Animal Services and always kept on a leash (max. 10 ft.) Animals must be under control and in visual observation of their owners, at all times, when they are outside of the owner’s RV or vehicle; may not be tied to a vehicle or left alone. Guests will be evicted if their dogs engage in excessive barking or demonstrate aggressive behavior. Pets are not permitted to enter any building, including but not limited to the restrooms and laundry room. Dogs/cats running loose will be impounded at the owner’s sole expense. Pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds.

·     The Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds is a family-oriented RV park. We carefully review every person staying at our Facility. Individuals who have current or prior convictions for violent, predatory or statutory crimes, including but not limited to crimes against minors may not be approved to stay with us at the sole discretion of management.

·     The Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds RV Park reserves the right to evict any guest without a refund on the following basis: 

Ø  No firearms, fireworks, bb guns, and drones - no exceptions.  Drugs, weapons, fighting, lewd conduct, reckless driving, speeding, skateboarding, motorbiking, loud noise or any conduct deemed to be a nuisance and/or a violation of law are not permitted, and violators will be evicted from the facility.

Ø  No open flame fires for cooking and/or heating are permitted with the exception of fully contained BBQ Grills(propane) and propane fire pits. Certain smokers (electric, gas, pellet, and charcoal) will be permitted in the park and must not be left unattended. Charcoal BBQ’s will be permitted. All charcoal, ash, pellets etc., must be disposed of in the metal bins located by the dumpsters. Anyone observed violating this policy will incur a fine of $150.

Ø  There is no storage of any type allowed around, under or on top of the RV, camper and/or vehicle. No vehicle repairs of any kind are permitted on fairgrounds property.

Ø  No selling, advertising, or distribution of any product (including alcohol).

Ø  No tents allowed – This includes tent campers. No box trailers are allowed.

Ø  No camper’s off trucks.

Ø  No loitering in the RV area. All occupants must be registered with the RV Park and/or have official business with the Fairgrounds Event Center.

Ø  No extension cords attached to the 110 outlets in the power stand. Any extension cord must be connected to or run out of original OEM outlets on the RV.

Ø  No business may be conducted in the RV Park.

Ø  Use of, or representation of the RV Park address as your place of residence.

Ø  Black or grey water is not to come into contact with the ground: rinse holding tank basin after each use. Non-compliance will result in a minimum charge of $200 as a cleanup fee.

Ø      Non-compliance of campground policies, rules or regulations.

Ø      Verbal or physical threat of another guest or employee.

Ø      Failure to pick up after your pet.

Ø     Deliberate damage or destruction of property belonging to the Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds RV Park.

 

Ø      Disorderly or indecent conduct.

Ø      Littering of the RV Park, RV Site, RV laundry room or restrooms.

Ø      Driving over the speed limit of 5 MPH.

Ø  Leaving your pet unattended in the dog park. 

Ø    No littering of the RV Park, RV Site, RV Laundry room or restrooms. This includes smoking materials. Extinguish and properly dispose of all smoking materials in proper receptacles (not on the ground). Place garbage and litter in the containers provided. Garbage cannot be left outside anywhere in your RV Site at any time.

Ø  Any occupant, guest, their children or their visitors who become a nuisance will be asked to leave the grounds.

Ø  Spreading of any product on the ground to deter insects is strictly forbidden. Please contact the RV Host for any insect issues.

Ø  No washing of any vehicle on the RV Park premises.

·     All RV Sites must be kept clean for the enjoyment of all guests.

·     Quiet hours are from 10:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. There will be no visitors allowed after 10:00 P.M without the proper parking pass and No RV Check Ins after 10:00 P.M.; No loud radios or music at any time.

·      Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

The Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds RV Park maintains the right to modify these rules and regulations without notice as well as refusing entry and/or to evict those who do not observe the RV Park rules and regulations. The Sonoma County Fair and Event Center has the final say in the interpretation of any rule or regulation. These rules are for your protection and to ensure all guests have an enjoyable stay.
